This newly added roleplay zone brings the Western theme to life, with players wandering the area, interacting with one another, and engaging with the environment in true frontier fashion. Added this year by popular request, the space is designed to encourage walk-up RP and immersive character moments throughout the festival. We hope you enjoy the atmosphere and make it your own.

A brief history of the area:Your Shaaloani Everyday
Hhusatahwi is a trading town used to having people coming and going, despite only having been founded just a few years ago by the sheriff's family. The sheriff & co recently arrested the deputy sheriff, Wihuwte, for secretly being evil, who can be found by the Hhusatahwi aetherite doing community service. Besides Wihuwte's people, who've scattered to the winds, recent criminal activity includes The Passage Of The Unbound, a mysterious and dastardly group of outlaws from all over the world, acting all over the world, who seek to become unbound by the conventions and laws of modern society and behave however they please, occasionally meeting in the Hhusatahwi saloon and refusing to pay their tabs. Their brave and beautiful leader has recently been arrested, but the truly free will never let something like gaoltime silence the call of the decidedly liberated!Heritage Unlost and Found
30 malms northwest from the town the lightning dome appeared one day, effectively instantly aging everyone living around Yyasulani Station by 30 years due to dimensional time displacement. There's a sci-fi city in there now. The dome came down far enough away that Hhusatahwi wasn't directly affected, but was close enough that it's very likely everyone knew someone who lived there or had been there at some point in their lives. The previous leaders of Solution 9 had sent troops directly through Shaaloani to massacre and assassinate the previous Dawnservant in Tuliyollal - though deaths did happen, fighting in Hhusatahwi itself was minimal, and the situation has been mostly resolved by the current Dawnservants, current leadership in Solution 9, and their friends.A New Season for Hhusatahwi
With good relations stabilized between Tural and Solution 9, The Shaaloani Showdown is being hosted by Chiisai Smol and their Milala-Lalafell community hailing from the Ninth's Treno, a trade city and sister in spirt to Hhusatahwi, which this community has made their home in. The Drunken “Sheriff” of Shaaloani
A loud, lovable local who insists he’s the acting sheriff, reigning Showdown champion, and all-around hero of the town… despite absolutely zero proof. He inserts himself into everything, conducts “official” interviews, and claims he’s just making sure the town’s in good hands.The joke isn’t that he’s stupid....... it’s that he’s confidently wrong.

Think you’ve got a sharp eye, partner? Our Western Saloon Scavenger Hunt, designed by Lexa Frost, challenges you to search every dusty corner of the saloon. Head over to the plot listed above and see if you can track down five (blank) hidden among the mess. The first five folks to find all five (blank) will earn a greater reward! So keep your eyes peeled and don’t miss a thing.Good luck… you’re gonna need it.
WANTED
Trouble’s brewing in Shaaloani. Outlaws are roaming the festival grounds with bounties on their heads, and it’s up to sharp-eyed deputies and rival gunslingers to bring them in. Keep an eye out as you explore, and if you recognize a familiar face from a WANTED poster, turn them in and claim the reward.Check the Discord regularly to see who’s being hunted and how much they’re worth.
Look for wanted posters around the festival, if you see any of these criminals its your job to turn them in to the police!To "Capture" an outlaw, walk up to them and say "I've got you now criminal!" This is the only phrase that will get them to submit and follow you to the jailhouse where you will hand them over to an officer. These criminals are pretty elusive and constantly escaping so keep a sharp eye out.
